FABRICE PASQUINELLI’S BACKGROUND
- After a career spanning investment banking, commodity markets, and cross-border agriculture finance, Fabrice Pasquinelli has built a distinctive advisory practice at the intersection of food & agriculture, M&A, and strategic development across the Americas. Fabrice began his career at Goldman Sachs and BNP Paribas in New York, where he developed his grounding in fixed income and commodity-indexed transactions. He went on to co-found a commodity fund of hedge funds dedicated to energy and electricity trading strategies, growing assets from inception to $180 million under management, and contributing to a broader platform reaching $680 million at peak.
- In 2013, Fabrice founded his own strategic advisory practice, focused exclusively on food and agriculture across North and South America. For eight years, he served as Senior North American Advisor to Unigrains, an independent investor and partner to over 150 agri-food companies, originating and structuring M&A transactions, mapping the North American mid-market private equity landscape, and advising portfolio company CEOs on market entry and strategic development. His work spanned the full transaction lifecycle, in close collaboration with Messis Finance, Unigrains' in-house investment bank.
- With a track record encompassing large-scale agriculture projects across Nicaragua, Colombia, Guatemala, Brazil, and Paraguay, grain elevator consolidations, and vertically integrated food operations, Fabrice brings to every mandate a rare combination of financial rigor, sector depth, and on-the-ground transactional experience. He defines his practice as the ability to bridge the complexity of agricultural value chains with the strategic and financial ambitions of founders and investors, accompanying them not only through transactions, but through the pivotal decisions that shape their businesses over the long term.
